About the Designer

I first thought about this topic after spending time with a good friend of mine, who has now graduated, surfing Google images.  We were attempting to find a picture for a presentation we were doing in economics class about the "Shrimp-Turtle Case".  The basics of the case were that shrimp fishermen were accidentally trapping endangered sea turtles in their nets.  The fisherman were supposed to get turtle repelling devices but had not so they were being sued.  My research partner started to wonder aloud "I wonder if we could find a picture of a creature that is half shrimp half turtle".  I replied that such a thing probably didn't exist, even in the realms of fiction.  With a twinkle in his eye he looked back and said "It's the internet Brian, there will be a picture if we look hard enough."

What we eventually found was this piece of weirdness:

Brian Krug is a Senior at TUS.
He enjoys finding and reading about odd things on the internet.
You can read this blog as a form of entertainment or a way to see a small sample of strange things that are out there without risking your sanity.

Instead of a picture of him let's just look at his golden retriever peeping out of the darkness with horrible burning eyes.
